Shipwrecked VBS– Rescued by Jesus
Inviting all kids ages Pre-K 4 thru 5th Grade (fall of 2018) to sign-up now for this year’s Vacation Bible School – “Shipwrecked – Rescued by Jesus”. Shipwrecked VBS will anchor kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms. Shipwrecked VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch and even taste! Creative crafts, team-building games, co Bible songs, and tasty treats are a few of the activities that help faith flow into real life. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life – something we call God Sightings!
Registration forms are available outside Claire Bissell’s Office. New for 2018 included with your registration is a SEAS 2018 VBS T-Shirts!! In order to guarantee t-shirts will arrive on time, registration deadline is Monday, June 18!!
Volunteers will receive t-shirts as well – Registration forms are required by the deadline in order to be guaranteed a t-shirt!!

Children’s Liturgy of the Word continues at the 11 am Mass. This ministry is designed to help young children to learn to listen, reflect and respond to God’s Word. To volunteer to help with this ministry, contact Claire Bissell.

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study: Our scripture study/faith sharing group meets every Sunday at 9:30 am in the library of the Burleigh Center. Newcomers are welcome to all these offerings.

Matthew Bible Study, Wednesdays, at 6 pm in the Burleigh Center; Matthew: The King and His Kingdom is an exciting study that explores the life and mission of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel. It is 24 sessions and the 2nd in the three part foundational study following the Great Adventure Bible Study. Matthew demonstrates how the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled in Christ, who establishes a New Law and inaugurates the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Participants will see Jesus as the awaited Messiah who relives the life and struggles of Israel to become the faithful and victorious King. Set in the rich context of Jesus’ Jewish culture, this study will help us understand who Jesus is and what his life and teachings mean for us today.
