Parish Feast Day Celebration
Our Parish Feast Day is celebrated each January on a Sunday near the feast of our patron Saint, Elizabeth Ann Seton. Join us for fellowship, fun and faith-filled activities! Check our calendar for definitive dates.
St. Joseph Altar
The St. Joseph Altar is an annual celebration of faith and food in a robust Italian tradition. St. Joseph is credited with intercession on behalf of the people of Sicily when crops failed from drought in the Middle Ages. Usually held on a weekend in March near the feast of St. Joseph, this event packs the house with a beautiful altar and a re-enactment of the Holy Family seeking shelter.
Summer Family Dinners
Join us during the summer for family dinners in June, July and August. One dinner is coordinated per month and focuses on a particular theme that defines the food, entertainment and decorations. You won't regret spending an evening with us having fun and learning something new. Dinners usually begin at 5:15 and are open to your whole family!
October in the Grove Events
The month of October gets into full swing with outdoor events each week of the month in our pecan grove, courtesy or our Community and Fellowship Committee. The first weekend of October has the Blessing of the Pets followed by the outdoor rosary and breakfast the second week ("Grace in the Grove"). In the third week, we gather for an ice cream social and collect canned goods for our St. Vincent de Paul Society ("Giving in the Grove"). Our month wraps up with our annual Fall Fest celebration, coordinated by our Parish School of Religion program.
